After School art classes

Classes take place in the artist's studio in Avoca Beach and are limited to 8 participants per class. Each weekly session will focus on an art or making activity. Drawing, sculpture, printmaking, painting and other art-making/creative skills will be developed through repetition and familiarisation with materials, problem solving, experimentation and individual creativity. Children will be encouraged to challenge themselves and push through creative and confidence blocks in areas they might find difficult. They are also encouraged to help each other and sometimes work collaboratively. All materials are supplied and there is usually something to take home after each session. Sometimes, more complicated projects will span over two weeks.
